If you have many file formats of the same image e.g., a jpg and a png or bmp then send us the higher quality file for vectorization. LunaLogo has specialty to produce a nice and clean vector file from any file you may have, but a high resolution or larger image usually shows more details. The more detail we see on the original, the more detail we can put in the vector file.
Also, it is highly recommended that you do not manually increase the size or resolution of an image; this does not help improve the quality of the image. The image must have been originally created, scanned or photographed using a high resolution settings.
Specify fonts used or allow font substitution
We will need to either manually redraw or retype any letters that are included in your original image. We can easily re-draw larger fonts with an exact match, but, but smaller text will be re typed. It can take a long time to search through font directory to try to match the same exact font, if you supply the name of the font used then it will save our time and save your money. If you do not know the font name then you can also send us similar font that you like. We can substitute with the original one. This will save much time specially in RUSH orders. If you want exact font then we would try to match it 100% or need to purchase or either draw manually.
Specify vector file usage
Specify what the vector file will be used for; screen printed shirt (specify color mode required CMYK or SPOT), vinyl-cut signs, CMYK or SPOT signs and banners, engraving, etching, specialty printing (cups, pens, clocks, etc.) etc. If you specify what the vector file will be used for we will make sure that the file will be suitable for that process. You can specify color code PMS or RGB % for any other purposes. If you need line art conversion then just specify single color because if you do not specify then the cost would be high to reproduce shield, state seal, embroidery file etc. So, we would request you to specify the usage to save money on vector conversion.
Many companies do not have the vector file format version of their logo, though many have it in a bitmap or .gif format from their websites. When these logos are required to be printed on a large scale, the bitmap versions of the logos need to be redrawn into a vector format to ensure crisp and high-quality reproduction of the logo on the final product.
