FAQs

What is the process for designing a logo?
We will design your logo per your specifications. We ask you to furnish the following details:

  • Contact name
  • Colors preferred (including specific PMS numbers, if desired)
  • Should it include text, an image, or both?
  • Should it have a special font?
  • Rough concept of how the desired identity should look like(optional)
We will provide couple of samples in jpeg format and once finalized and upon receipt of payment, the logos will be sent in desired vector format.

What formats is my logo delivered in?
Logos are delivered in EPS, JPG and PDF format, unless requested in another format by the client (Corel Draw is available). Clients wishing to have their logo in a specific software application format should check with us first to ensure availability before beginning the logo design process.

What is the difference between a Vector and a Bitmap logo?
Logos in vector format are scalable to any size and can be printed in any desired resolution. A bitmap logo is resolution dependant. When scaled, particularly larger, they become “grainy” or “fuzzy” due to the ability to see the individual pixels within the image. In general, bitmap logos are created from vector images and are mainly used for web design.  In most instances, you will need your logo in vector format to reproduce it on printed materials.

How many colors can be incorporated in a logo?
There are no restrictions on integrating multiple colors in a logo. However, when printing a multi-color logo on most items, it is much more expensive when compared to the cost of printing a single-color or double-color logo.  Generally, the more colors a logo contains, the more it is going to cost to reproduce on most items.

What is logo recreation?
Many companies do not have the vector file format version of their logo, though many have it in a bitmap or .gif format from their websites. When these logos are required to be printed on a large scale, the bitmap versions of the logos need to be redrawn into a vector format to ensure crisp and high-quality reproduction of the logo on the final product. This process is known as logo conversion. In order to redraw a logo, you will have to submit the source bitmap, .gif or .jpg logo to us.

What are the different terminologies used in the process of logo recreation?
Logo recreation is classified into three types:
  • Simple logos
  • Moderate logos
  • Complex logos
